Marking Your System Package as Read-Only
If you are done with managing or tracking a system package you can mark it inactive as read-only. Be careful when doing this – it cannot be undone.
What Happens to Your Data
All your data is saved and kept in the system package. However, things like updating checklists and vulnerabilities, uploading patch scans, or removing data is not allowed. There will be an error if any of that is tried. All menu items and buttons will be hidden. This also will make sure this system package does not count against your license and number of allowed active system packages.
Restrictions on Read-Only System Packages
If you make a system package read-only you can view all your data. However you cannot edit or delete any of the following:
- System Package Information
- Descriptions
- Checklists
- Scores
- Patch Scans
- POAM Entries
- Compliance Data
- Milestones
- Evidence
- Integrations
Once you mark this read-only you cannot undo that action.
