OpenRMF^® Professional Application Logging with the ELK Stack

OpenRMF^® Professional uses Elasticsearch, Logstach, and Kibana (ELK Stack) for integrated logging of all components and services. To launch the logging, choose the Administration –> Logging Server menu. From there go to the Discover page from the main landing page or from the left menu of the screen.

Choose your search index you created and view all logs based on any of the criteria you can select on the left menu. You can see more of the logging usage in the Administrator Guide as well as our online video on demand series training videos.

Level of Logging

There is a LOGLEVEL setting in the YML files for running OpenRMF^® Professional. If you wish to have more verbose logs you can set the LOGLEVEL to a lower number than the default “3” which is “Warning Only”.
