Run the POAM Binding Operational Directive Report
This report shows you the POAM items marked for Binding Operational Directive (BOD) tracking, ordered by their BOD due date so the overdue and soonest items are at the top.
Running the Report
Choose your system package and click Run Report. You can narrow the listing with these optional filters.
- BOD Due Date Start and BOD Due Date End limit the listing to items with a BOD due date in that range. Both dates are included. You can fill in just one of them.
- Status limits the listing to Ongoing, Completed, or Risk Accepted items. Leave it on All to see every status.
Leave both dates empty to list every BOD tracked item, including items that do not have a due date yet. Those show “No due date” and sort to the bottom. As soon as you enter a date, only items with a due date in that range are listed.
The Days to Due column counts the days from today to the BOD due date. Ongoing items past their due date show a red Overdue badge with the number of days late. Click the POAM item number to go to that item on the POAM page, or click the green + icon to see all of its details.
Click Download to export the same filtered listing to MS Excel with all POAM data columns, including the BOD tracking and due date.
Where the Data Comes From
This data comes from the POAM items in your system package where Binding Operational Directive Tracking is turned on. You set this, and the Binding Operational Directive Due Date, when you update a POAM record directly or through POAM bulk edit.
Why Run this Report
Binding Operational Directives come with their own required remediation dates. This report gives you one place to see which tracked items are coming due or are already overdue for your system package, separate from the scheduled completion dates on the rest of your POAM.
Team Subpackages have the same report, limited to the POAM items in that team subpackage, under the Team Subpackage reports.
