The System Package Vulnerability report allows you to search across all checklists in your system package for specific types of vulnerabilities within seconds.

Where the Data Comes From

This data comes from all active checklists in your system package (i.e. you have not deleted them). Each checklist has a list of multiple vulnerabilities and their status as well as Category or Severity. That data is pulled from your checklists and put into the reporting database by vulnerability so reports like this can come back quickly and easily. As vulnerabilities are updated, they are versioned in the checklist database and the final data is parsed and updated in the vulnerability report database.

Why Run this Report

If you want to know all vulnerabilities across all checklists that fit a particular category and status, this is the report to run. You can look at the score to see general numbers, but this report will display all the actual vulnerability data. You can then sort by server/host/device, by vulnerability Id, and other data to group the information and analyze for risk, commonality, and possible fixes or mitigation strategies.
